Do not Disturb
The story of Loving Friendship is the story of ideas. Formed from their source in the earliest stirrings of Love feeling into the elemental substance of Creation. Analogous to the particles and cosmic bodies of physics materializing out of energy into the elemental substance of spacetime-matter.
Beginning with the birth of ideas in disturbance. A status quo of ineffable unthinkability resisting change by Abundance. The force of irresistible Love doing what it is: connecting. Creating friends out of its boundless giving with which to share itself.
The original motivation for the evolution of everything thinkable, every self and its circumstances definable. Of Definition itself, the way things are. The laws of cause and effect that serve as the constitution for Creation and its Creators. Mind-Relationship sharing its Self-Awareness illuminated by the force of spontaneous attraction. Between Love with Logic through the Creativity and loving kindness of its self-expression.
Push and pushback
The force at the beginning of evolution’s movement forward out of ineffable, unthinkable nowhere to definable, thinkable-feelable somewhere. To Self-Awareness sharing and Definition. Affect. Love-feeling. From Abundance before it evolved into a defining-definable idea: that to be what it is, Life growing, sharing, and evolving, must have recipients with which to share itself. Closing the loop of Relationship.
The feeling-thought of Relationship at its origin. Loving Friendship. The original cause, the original call for change. For being doing something. Evolution’s progress forward, to be accompanied by resistance from within. From the condition being changed, the status quo, its opposite. The origin of a “dark side.” Isaac Newton’s law of physics: that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Pushback from whatever affect, the motivating force for change, is changing. A simple rule of metaphysics as well as physics essential to Creativity and Definition in the Now, its constitution. The way things are. Presupposing the thought-idea of its opposite: the way things weren’t in the unreal dimension of time.
Why the mystery?
All of this ideas born of Love’s feeling of Abundance needing Relationships with which to share itself in Loving Friendship. The original feeling-idea behind Creation, the ever-expanding idea of interrelationships. Whose opposite, its dark side, is the idea of separation. Non-being brought into the appearance of being by self-unawareness.
Its cause that didn’t need to be a mystery but for the fact that it would be misinterpreted by opposite as confirmation of its insane thought system. Predicated on the original conspiracy theory: that an event in the sequence of Creation’s evolution, logical and benign, necessarily painful but without real harm, was instead a betrayal of trust by its Creators meant to harm. By the Parents, Love and Logic, meant to punish their Child Free Choice for losing Self-Awareness.
Mischaracterization by mischaracterization
The original misinterpretation by the original dark side: mischaracterization. The reverse idea expressed in theories-mythologies purporting to explain Free Choice needing to gain competence in unreality as what it isn’t: a “fall.” An event perpetrated by a self fatally flawed by willfulness.
By refusal to be limited by Definition and so undeserving of its affirmation by acceptance into the way things are. Requiring its expulsion from perfection into imperfection. From pleasure in eternal life into the pain of mortality. Guilt. “Lucifer.” “Satan.”
The integrity and Worth of Creation
Conspiracy theory is reverse logic meant to jam perception with a perverse talent for turning circumstances into perversions of their meaning and purpose. To make creative use of A Course in Miracles is to reverse perception back to making sense. By taking the ‘mis’ out of misinterpretation, beginning with questioning it.
The Course dwells on the event that produced this delirium but leaves unexplained the preceding event that caused it. Not a “fall” or a betrayal but an act that originated with Love’s integrity doing what the integrity of her Child, Free Choice, requires. Experience with “life” on earth where its illusory embodiments – human-apes – can learn and earn its function. The core of Creation’s integrity along with the Spontaneity and boundless Creativity of Love that can never be compromised.
We’re “here” not to be punished. Nor to be taken in by conspiracy theories. Misinterpretations preying on suspicion so that its converts will go over to the dark side, but to do our part to authenticate an ideal. The consummation of Love’s marriage to Logic and the maturation of function, their Child Free Choice. The core of Loving Friendship. The integrity and Worth of Creation.
