I just placed an order for ACIM hardcover and Jerry’s book, recalling as I did so his relatability for not being able to let go of his fear of death. The one member of the Course family I felt an affinity for, the others preferring safety in their professional-academic cocoons. Especially Ken, whose teaching was heroic except that it was all done in self-unawareness, the reverse of the lesson of the Course, on behalf of the reverse of Jesus, Sigmund Freud.
Stripped of Helen’s patriarchal authoritarian influence the lesson of the Course and its author are what they purport to be: mind-healing miracle-working. My having had my first unmistakable experience of the Miracle over Easter, a week ago. My heart so agape that you may continue sending me the Holy Encounter even though my sparring and essaying in loving friendship with Jesus no longer allow time to read it.
